2nd Annual HEALING POWER OF THE MIND RETREAT - Aug 2, 10am to 9pm; Aug 3, 9am to 9pm; Aug 4, 9am to 12 noon
A fabulous opportunity to retreat under the leadership of Dekyi-Lee & Gen Ngawang Choklay to rest, regenerate, and experience warmth, support, inspiration, compassion, wisdom and life-changing ‘family’ in the beautiful environment of our new centre on 4 grassy acres with a creek and gardens. Enjoy 5 Tibetan yogas, tai chi, sharing, meditation, chanting, talks that will expand your understanding and opportunities, experiential Transformative Mindfulness exercises and evening Vigils. Bring a playful attitude, pitch a tent or bring an air mattress to camp out in the centre. Or decide to just come for the day and sleep at home. Teenagers are welcome. Full retreat is $140. Single full day is $60. Bring vegetarian potluck lunch and dinner and snacks to share. Bursaries available. Registration is necessary and is handled by Katie at 905 522 6736.
